Our Founder
Rhea Saran
With 20 years of experience in media, communications, and brand strategy, Rhea Saran has worked across North America, India, the Middle East, and Europe — with a focus on the travel, hospitality, and luxury sectors.
She was most recently Global Head of Brand & Content at Travelzoo in London, following her role in Saudi Arabia leading destination marketing content strategy at Diriyah Gate, a multi-billion-dollar tourism giga-project.
From 2013 to 2020, Rhea was Founding Editor-in-Chief of Condé Nast Traveller Middle East, where she launched and grew the brand across the region. Earlier, she held senior editorial roles at GQ India in Mumbai and Condé Nast Traveler in New York.
In 2024, she returned to Dubai and began consulting for Brunswick on hospitality, culture, and real estate projects, while writing a book for Assouline and shaping brand strategy for a health-tech startup. She now runs Kahāni by Rhea Saran, a consultancy rooted in the power of strategic storytelling.
